Sartorius AG Center of Excellence Ribbon Cutting
Ann Arbor, MI – The Sartorius AG Center of Excellence, located in the tech loop in Ann Arbor, opened this past month. The center’s 130,000 square feet includes biology labs, offices, a manufacturing area, and a warehouse, making it the perfect place to house the German pharmaceutical research and manufacturing firm’s North American Headquarters. The building consolidates multiple operations from Sartorius facilities all around North America, establishing a stronger presence right here in Michigan.
The Center of Excellence was built with sustainability in mind. It includes solar panels, electric vehicle charging stations and a storm runoff retention pond, among other green-building features in its efforts to achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold certification. The Sartorius AG Center of Excellence is one of the largest LEED Gold facilities in the area.
